Well, we made it!  We are in Honduras, and absolutely loving it!  We haven't been able to do ministry yet, but on Monday we will be starting our first day.  Lately, we all have been resting and getting situated.  We have been having sessions about the culture we now live in, the people, what to expect, how to act, and so on.  However, it doesn't matter where you are, ministry is everywhere you go.  One day, I just got back from a small hike a few people and this man came up to our group.  Maria, who is fluent in Spanish, translated for us.  This man had a large lump on his arm which caused him to be out of work.  He noticed about 64 white people (who wouldn't out here ) and knew that Jesus was with us.  He walked all the way from his home just for healing.  We all laid hands on him and prayed that the Healer would heal him.  At first, he said that his arm was still hurting so we prayed again. He then said that it only hurt a little bit.  He was so excited when he headed back home and knew that Jesus was healing him.
This past week, Jesus has already begun an amazing work in us.  If you were to walk by our hill, you would see just how present the Holy Spirit is and how we are all truly on fire and super stoked for our first week of ministry to start.   Tomorrow my team and I, along with 3 other teams, will be moving ministry sites.  We are joining a ministry that works with women who have been abused (physically, sexually, emotionally, etc).  We will be building relationships with them, loving their children, praying with them, and sharing God's love for them. Please be praying for us as this new week begins!
